Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations through Key Performance Indicators (KPI), problem solving and driving continuous improvement to achieve the KPI targets and 5S activities.

• Coach and mentor associates on standard work, problem solving, continuous improvement, and effectively manage performance.

• Build a strong, motivated team capable of consistently delivering undamaged products against aggressive targets.

• Create and maintain a culture that prioritizes safety, quality and cost through communication, action, and accountability.

• Work cross functionally to improve processes, support inventory control issues, address bottlenecks and increase productivity.

• Training and development of, leads, and associates.

• Identify roadblocks and communicate loudly while supporting issue resolution through containment, root cause analysis, and permanent corrective action implementation.

• Support programs from prototype phase through production.

• Communicate status and risks regularly. Escalate in a timely manner

• Collaborate with Supply Chain and Engineering to support material changes resulting from Change action (CAs), plan for new material and minimize obsolescence of old material

• Provide ongoing transparency of inventory levels and ensure continuous inventory accuracy

• Work fluidly in a highly cross-functional team environment involving manufacturing, program management, product development teams, design engineers, supply chain, production control and logistics teams

• Look for opportunities to identify and drive improvement projects/ processes

• Generate and publish performance metrics on the program

• Other duties as assigned.
