Provide supervision to associates and day-to-day operations including receiving, stocking, shipping and all transactions related to inbound/outbound activities
Ensure efficiency and accuracy of stocking and organization of inventory, parts inventory for all indirect products
Work closely with 3rd party vendors, as well as internal/external logistics and Quality teams, from around the globe
This position will report directly to the Associate Manager, Production Control
Assist with setting up and maintaining the warehouse layout and overall flow of materials
Train and assist other Tesla team members in locating indirect products, and procuring said items if necessary
Manage space optimization within the distribution center
Ensure that warehouse staff effectively and efficiently performs timely receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping of inventory to store locations and external customers
Address issues with regard to any inbound packaging issues from our internal and external suppliers
Communicate with internal teams and internal/external customers, keeping all informed of the inventory and shipping status including No Bin, No Cost, No Movement reporting
Regularly monitoring the inventory work, the implementation of assigned processes, such as coordinate a cycle count program, and troubleshoot all order problems, and suggesting changes accordingly
Resolve process issues related to materials management, warehousing, production control, logistics, distribution, and returns
