To that end, Tesla’s Engineering, Design, and Procurement (EDC) Team is seeking a hardworking and passionate Building Mechanical Design Intern. In this role, you will be part of the startup team that is focused on delivering the first European Gigafactory, the newest home of Tesla’s current and future projects, products and services. The ideal candidate will thrive on working on large, complex projects, and has great communication as well as prioritization skills. Your internship assignment focuses on developing and coordinating Tesla’s design standards for construction design delivery. That includes aligning Tesla requirements with industry standards, validating material specifications, and developing Model Production Standards. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to join Tesla for an internship alongside the first employees of the European Gigafactory in Berlin, one of the most ambitious construction projects in Europe.
