The Role
As an Interior Launch Engineer in Tesla’s Vehicle Engineering Group, you will be responsible for local release and launch of vehicle components and systems for upcoming Model Y production, and future Tesla vehicle product line in Gigafactoy Berlin. You will be part of the global team that creates and executes world-class vehicles in terms of form, function and luxury.
Commodities of particular importance for this role include IP, Console, Cross Car Beam, Door Trim Panels, Hard Trim, Headliner Systems, Carpets, Insulators and Luggage Compartment Trim, and the integration of these commodities into the vehicle. You will utilize your expertise in one or more of these commodities and work with a lean and agile team of the best automotive engineers in the industry. You will report to the Interior Launch Engineering Manager.
