Tesla seeks a candidate for the position of Supplier Master Data Manager in the Finance department of a rapidly growing organization.
Audit data quality of all master and reference data across all locations and coordinate resulting data cleansing activities with Supplier Master Data Management
Continually evaluate the performance of each employee’s, present and evaluate productivity metrics and provide constant feedback to employees and management to drive results
Contribute to constant improvement in the quality and accuracy of the master data to ensure uninterrupted business continuity
Ensure all employees adhere to Tesla policies and procedures
Ensure company departments and business partners have a clear understanding of Supplier Master services and Procurement and/or Finance policies
Ensure Supplier Master operations comply with statutory requirements, company policies, processes, procedures, internal controls, and Finance objectives
Ensures SOX Controls, Finance Policies, Documented Procedures are enforced
Establish key metrics and reporting cadence for the Supplier Master EMEA team to drive initiatives to scale the organization.
Partner with Supplier Master Data Management to design and build a world-class global Supplier Master organization that can efficiently scale with Tesla’s hyper-growth
Perform root-cause analysis on master data integration problems. Recommend and execute corrective action
Recruit, train, and develop management team and employees ensuring all positions are filled promptly
Review Supplier Master Data requests to ensure high-quality data is available to execute Global Procure-To-Pay business processes
Support maintenance of desktop procedures to ensure current processes are accurately documented
Understand the full P2P cycle to quickly identify the source of bottlenecks, problems and drive issues to resolution including impact and risk assessments, status reporting, and more
Work with data from multiple data sources and have comfort with pulling and analyzing multiple reports – responsible for all KPIs related to daily operations for EMEA
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
10+ years of procure-to-pay and continuous improvement/business analysis experience
5+ years of experience in a Supplier Master Data Governance role
Experience with ERP systems; AX Dynamics experience preferred.
Proven attention to detail and organization skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Project, Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Experience flourishing in an environment of fast growth and ambiguity
Proficient in the use of analytic tools such as data gathering and analysis, spreadsheets, flow-charting, and process diagramming
Ability to work evening hours, weekends, and holidays at a fast pace, high-growth environment – as needed
Effective communication skills and a customer service approach.
Skilled team player with interpersonal skills and a tracking record of successfully working with cross-functional business stakeholders
Proven analytical and project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translating them into operational requirements
