The Role
The Maintenance Team works around the clock on infrastructure systems to maximize performance and availability. Through a combination of preventative and corrective maintenance they ensure these systems operate as intended, and when they don't they're returned to service as soon as possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide day to day support of maintenance issues on site
- Complete monthly system maintenance cost analysis
- Review trends, analyze data, and monitor equipment/systems to identify trends and ensure they are running within specifications
- Investigate ways to reduce the cost of maintenance or improvement projects
- Create & modify maintenance and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Develop projects based on operational need and/or energy & cost conservation
- Perform cost/benefit analysis and engineering recommendation / justification
- Assist with coordinating installation and commissioning
- Train facilities personnel on new system and proper operations
- Understand and apply Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) concepts and root cause failure analysis to open-ended problems
- Create and track countermeasures to completion
- Coordinate with Environmental team for any compliance issues
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 4+ years of experience
- Intermediate knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems including pumps, pneumatics, fans, flow meters, air handling systems, industrial chilled water, heating, process piping, rotating equipment, vibration analysis, and heat transfer is a benefit
- Strong troubleshooting background and issue resolution
- Strong data and system analysis
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Intermediate project management skills
- Proven ability to work in a large, complex environment where you must adapt to meet company needs
