Electric Vehicle Incentives
The following incentives are available by jurisdiction. Customers should confirm their own eligibility and be aware that government programs are subject to funding limitations and eligibility criteria may change at any time, including during the period between placing your order and taking delivery of your vehicle.
Incentives Available Today
The federal government offers benefits to individuals and businesses who purchase electric vehicles.
Point-of-Sale Incentive for Individuals
Through the Electric Vehicle Affordability Program (EVAP), individuals who purchase, finance or lease an electric vehicle with a total transaction price under $50,000 (before taxes, freight, government fees and certain licensed dealership fees) may be eligible for incentives up to $5,000. This program can be combined with provincial incentives.
Note: Customers may be required to pre-qualify their eligibility with Transport Canada. Transport Canada requires participating licensed retail locations, including Tesla stores, to administer this program on its behalf by providing the government with an effective interest-free loan for each incentive issued. As such, Tesla may opt not to participate in the program based solely on its determination of risk and the government’s good-faith engagement with the company. The program is subject to change by the government at any time and funding may lapse at any time. Incentives are not guaranteed. Contact your local Tesla store to learn more.
Capital Cost Allowance for Businesses
The enhanced capital cost allowances enable a higher deduction in the year that an electric vehicle is put on the road (potentially up to 55% of $61,000 for qualifying vehicles purchased in tax year 2026 or 2027).
Note: Consult the Canada Revenue Agency or a tax professional for details and to learn if the electric vehicle provisions established for CCA Classes 54 or 55 could support your business.
Certain provinces offer programs and subsidies to residents who purchase electric vehicles.

1 Definition of MSRP
The “MSRP” (manufacturer’s suggested retail price) shown on this page is based on the definition originally established by Transport Canada for the purposes of delivering the iZEV purchase incentive program. This definition is generally also adopted by provinces for provincial programs. Per the federal government’s definition established in 2019, the MSRP excludes delivery-related and other fees that may be included in our online store pricing, as required by provincial regulators. While the federal program no longer uses MSRP we maintain this table for provincial incentive purposes. In some provinces, regulations prohibit the advertising of the MSRP in Tesla’s online configurator or by store personnel who are obliged to communicate an all-in delivery price. The following is Tesla’s MSRP for each official trim. Where available, click the “order” or “inventory” link next to each price to view Tesla’s “all-in” pricing:
