Tesla vehicle accessories, Tesla merchandise and select spare parts are available for purchase from the Tesla Shop, the Tesla app and most Tesla retail locations.

Product Inquiries

What products ship directly to the customer? What products ship to a Tesla Service Center on my behalf?
Apparel, lifestyle, charging equipment, vehicle parts and most vehicle accessories will ship directly to the address entered at time of checkout.

To ensure optimal fit and function, service-installed vehicle accessories are dispatched to your preferred Tesla Service Center upon scheduling your appointment for installation in the Tesla app. The purchase price of these items includes shipping and installation.

Within the Tesla app, upon completing checkout for service-installed vehicle accessories, you’ll be prompted to schedule a service appointment for installation. On the day of your appointment, the items will be ready for you. If for some reason your service-installed vehicle accessories are delayed, you will be notified via the app and your service visit will be rescheduled.

Examples of service-installed vehicle accessories include:

  • Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y Wheel and Tire Packages
  • Model S, Model 3 and Model Y Carbon Fiber Spoiler
  • Model S and Model X HEPA Air Filtration Upgrade

Can I purchase more than one service-installed vehicle accessory for my vehicle?
Yes. A customer can order multiple service-installed vehicle accessories for the same VIN on the same order.

Can I purchase service-installed vehicle accessories for multiple vehicles in my Tesla Account on the same order?
No. Only one VIN can be selected at a time when purchasing multiple service-installed vehicle accessories. If you own multiple Tesla vehicles, you will need to place a separate order for each vehicle.

How do I get my Wall Connector installed?
For information on installing a Wall Connector and charging your Tesla at home, visit Home Charging Installation Support.

Fitment for some products, such as the 2015-2020 | Model X All-Weather Interior Liners, depends on the vehicle build date. Where do I find the build date of my Tesla?
The build date for your Tesla is shown on the vehicle certification label located on the driver’s side door pillar. This label is visible when the door is open.

Payment, Checkout and Pricing

What are accepted methods of payment?
The Tesla Shop accepts the following payment methods: Apple Pay, American Express, Discover, Dogecoin, Mastercard and Visa.

Can I order a service-installed vehicle accessory without a VIN associated with my Tesla Account?
In order to purchase service-installed vehicle accessories, you must have a VIN.

Can I edit or cancel my order?
We try to ship orders as soon as possible. However, if the order is not yet actioned by our distribution center, it may be possible to cancel the order. To verify eligibility for cancellation, please visit the Order History section of your Tesla Account. From there, select the order containing the item you wish to cancel. If the item(s) are eligible for cancellation, the option will be presented beneath the order total. If the order is being processed by our distribution center or has already shipped, but the item is still eligible for return, then the option to initiate a return will be shown instead. If the item(s) are ineligible for cancellation or return, then neither option will be shown.

How can I cancel part of my order for service-installed vehicle accessories?
If the order is not yet actioned by our distribution center, it may be possible to cancel the order. To verify eligibility for cancellation, visit the Order History section of your Tesla Account. From there, select the order containing the service installed accessory you wish to cancel. If the item(s) are eligible for cancellation, the option will be presented beneath the order total. Are prices the same for Tesla merchandise and vehicle accessories sold on the Tesla Shop versus in Tesla Stores and Service Centers?
Yes.

Can I resell the products purchased from the Tesla Shop?
No. Tesla and its affiliates sell directly to end-consumers. We may unilaterally cancel any order that we believe has been made with the intention to resell, intended to violate our trademark rights or that has otherwise been made in bad faith. We may also cancel an order and process a refund if we discontinue a product after the time an order has been placed.

How can I redeem a Promo Code?
To redeem a Tesla Shop Promo Code, enter it in the Promo Code box at Checkout. To ensure your Promo Code works as expected, follow the below steps:

  • Ensure you are checking out on the correct Shop site. Promo Codes are country specific and will only work on the Shop site that they are intended for
  • Be sure to tap “Apply” after entering the Promo Code in the box at checkout

Common reasons for receiving an error when applying a Promo Code could be:

  • The code is expired
  • The code has already been redeemed
  • The code is intended for another Shop
  • The code does not apply to the items in the cart

Shipping and Ordering Times

How long will it take for my order to ship?
Although we strive to ship orders within 48 hours from time of purchase, order volume and product availability may result in additional processing time.

  • Large shipments and wheel and tire packages may have longer processing times.
  • Due to order volume and product availability, certain items may have limitations on the quantity that can be requested.

How can I check the status of my order?
Once your item ships, you will receive a confirmation email that includes tracking information. Click the link in your confirmation email and follow the steps to check the status of your order. You can also sign in to your Tesla Account and select an order in your Order History to check the status.

Does Tesla ship to P.O. boxes or APO addresses?
We currently offer shipping to residential or business addresses. We do not offer shipping to P.O. boxes or APO addresses.

Does Tesla ship products to my country?
We currently offer shipping to the 49 states of the continental United States, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Tesla reserves the right to cancel any order with a shipping address pertaining to a freight forwarder or that appears to be purchased with the intent to resell or export outside of the United States and Canada.

Why do some products ship directly to Tesla Service Centers?
Upon completing checkout and scheduling an installation appointment in the Tesla app, service-installed vehicle accessories are dispatched to the Tesla Service Center of the customer’s choosing. The purchase price of these items includes shipping and installation.

Does Tesla offer free shipping?
Tesla offers free shipping on all orders over $65 in Canada. For orders less than $65, a $15 shipping charge will apply. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Exceptions may apply.

Returns

Is it possible to return a product?
Vehicle Accessories and Merchandise purchased from the Tesla Shop or a Tesla retail location may be returned within 30 days of receiving the product. Wall Connectors, J1772 Wall Connectors and Mobile Connectors can be returned within 60 days of receiving the product. Opened and unused products have the same return window but are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Used products are ineligible for return.

Shipping charges are non-refundable. Exceptions may apply.

How do I start the return process?
For items purchased at a retail location, please visit a Tesla location with vehicle accessories and merchandise available for purchase to process your return request. To find a location with vehicle accessories and merchandise, visit the Find Us Map and locate your preferred Tesla Store or Service Center. Tesla locations with vehicle accessories and merchandise available will display: merchandise, vehicle accessories and Wall Connectors are available for purchase at this location.

To initiate a return for products purchased from the Tesla Shop, sign in to your Tesla Account and start a return from your order details.

If you purchase an item as a guest or via Apple Pay, access your order using your order number and email address, and then initiate your return request.

Can I return my online or in-app order to a Tesla Service Center?
Tesla Service Centers are focused on servicing customer vehicles and unfortunately cannot process any returns or refunds. However, once you have received a return shipping label, you may choose to drop off the package at any Tesla Service Center.

What products are not eligible for return?
Products that are not eligible for return include, but are not limited to:

  • Used and/or installed vehicle accessories
  • Vehicle accessories absent of their original packaging
  • Broken package quantities or incomplete kits
  • Paint Repair Kits
  • Wheel and tire packages that have been picked up by the customer, even if they remain uninstalled
  • Wireless Portable Charger

Can I return a product purchased from a third party?
Items purchased from a third party must be returned to that seller. Unfortunately, Tesla cannot accept the return of goods purchased from any third-party vendor.

When can I expect a refund for my return?
Refunds are usually processed within 7-10 business days after the returned product has arrived at the Tesla warehouse and has been inspected. Refunds will be credited to the original form of payment used for the purchase.

Do I have to pay for return shipping?
When you start a return, you will be provided a pre-paid return shipping label. In some cases, the return shipping fee may be deducted from your refund. If your return was due to product defect or warranty, a return shipping fee will not be deducted from your refund.

Warranty

Repair or replacement of Tesla-branded vehicle accessories purchased directly from Tesla, over-the-counter, online or purchased and installed by Tesla Service or a Tesla Collision Center, are covered under the Tesla Parts, Body & Paint Repair Limited Warranty.

This limited warranty covers the repair or replacement necessary to remedy any “failures” that are determined by Tesla to have occurred under normal use. “Failure” means the complete failure or inability of a covered part to perform the function(s) for which it was designed, due to defects in material or workmanship of the part manufactured or supplied by Tesla, which occur under normal use. Failure does not include the gradual loss in operating performance due to normal wear and tear. The Tesla Parts, Body & Paint Repair Limited Warranty begins on the purchase date of the accessory, and coverage extends for a period of 1 year. Specific categories of accessories have unique warranty coverage periods:

Subject to the exceptions described below and the terms of the Tesla Parts, Body & Paint Repair Limited Warranty, direct-ship vehicle accessories which do not require Tesla installation are covered for a period of 1 year from the purchase date of the accessory.

Subject to the exceptions described below and the terms of the applicable limited warranty, service-installed vehicle accessories are covered for whichever provides you the greatest benefit: 1 year from the purchase date of the accessory pursuant to the Tesla Parts, Body & Paint Repair Limited Warranty or the remainder of your New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

Wheel and Tire Packages Tesla New Vehicle or Parts, Body & Paint Limited Warranties do not cover tires, brake fluid or brake pads.
Model 3 Track Package Tesla New Vehicle or Parts, Body & Paint Limited Warranties do not cover tires, brake fluid or brake pads.
Model S Track Package Tesla New Vehicle or Parts, Body & Paint Limited Warranties do not cover tires, brake fluid or brake pads.
Model S Carbon Ceramic Brake Kit Tesla New Vehicle or Parts, Body & Paint Limited Warranties do not cover tires, brake fluid or brake pads.

* Warranty repairs do not constitute an extension of the original limited warranty period for the vehicle nor its parts or accessories.
* The Tesla Parts, Body & Paint Repair Limited Warranty gives you specific contractual rights. These rights do not substitute or affect any mandatory statutory rights under your local laws. This could mean that you may have additional rights arising from your local laws including, but not limited to, any mandatory statutory warranty rights.

Technical Support and Product Help

I would like to buy a direct-ship product but don't know if I can install it properly. Can I get help with installation on my Tesla vehicle?
Direct-ship vehicle accessories are meant to be easily added and removed from the vehicle and do not require a Service Center visit, but feel free to contact us if needed. If you need additional assistance with installation, a service visit can be scheduled.

Where can I find fitting instructions for a direct-ship vehicle accessory?
When available, certain direct-ship accessories will feature a link to download additional product information, including installation instructions, within their product detail page on Tesla Shop.
