Tesla App Support
Download the Tesla app for iPhone or Android to remotely monitor and control your Tesla vehicle with your phone. After downloading and installing the application, use your Tesla account email address and password to connect to your vehicle.
Trouble with the app?
Your Tesla vehicle must be delivered and have app access enabled using the settings menu of the center console in order to use the mobile app.
If your vehicle has been delivered and you're having issues accessing the app, first make sure you're using the correct email address or password. In order to reset your password, please follow the instructions here. If you cannot remember your Tesla account email address or you no longer have access to it, please contact us at CustomerSupport@tesla.com and we are happy to assist.
If you're experiencing performance issues with the app, the following troubleshooting steps can also be used:
- Logging out and logging back in
- Deleting and reinstalling the app
- Powering off your phone completely, and powering it back on
Unlock and drive your Tesla vehicle without your key.
Check current range, charge status, and receive charging complete notifications.
Remotely vent your roof or turn on the climate control system.
Never forget where you parked again.
Restrict access to your vehicle when handing over to valet: Hiding all personal data from your touchscreen, limiting maximum speed and performance your Tesla can achieve, and locking your front trunk and glove compartment to safely conceal valuables.
If you would like an additional user to be granted their own unique login for the Tesla mobile app, please email us your request at CustomerSupport@tesla.com. Please keep in mind that this will grant the additional user access only to the Tesla mobile app, and allow them to monitor and control the vehicle.
If you have any questions, please email us at CustomerSupport@tesla.com.
