To install Powershare Home Backup, you’ll need to purchase a Powershare Home Backup Bundle for $2,746. The Powershare Home Backup Bundle includes:

Powershare Gateway
Universal Wall Connector

If you already have a Universal Wall Connector, your Certified Installer can purchase a Powershare Gateway separately for a lower price.

Installation

To get Powershare Home Backup, your Certified Installer will need to install both a Powershare Gateway and a Universal Wall Connector. Your specific configuration may vary depending on the amount of energy used in your home, the size of your vehicle battery, other home energy equipment on-site and what you want to backup.

The typical installation costs for Powershare Home Backup equipment are:

Powershare Gateway: $2,500 – $2,900
Universal Wall Connector: $800 – $1,200

If you are swapping the Universal Wall Connector with an existing home charger, your installation cost may be lower. Ask your Certified Installer for a price quote specific to your home.

Permits

Additional Work
