Full Self-Driving Capability Subscriptions

Full Self-Driving Capability provides a suite of advanced driver-assistance features that enhance safety and convenience behind the wheel and can support you in driving your Tesla vehicle in a variety of driving scenarios. Full Self-Driving Capability will assist with lane changes, navigating more complex environments and parking spaces, maneuvering around objects as necessary to come find you in a car park within your direct vicinity and more.

Full Self-Driving Capability is available as a monthly subscription. You can subscribe from the Tesla app. Additionally, if you are ordering a new Tesla vehicle, you can simply add the subscription when placing your order.

Note: Availability of Full Self-Driving Capability as well as each specific feature vary by vehicle configuration, hardware, software version, country, region, regulatory approvals, model, trim and model year. If you are ordering a new Tesla vehicle, you can simply add the subscription when placing your order.

If you already own a Tesla vehicle, you can subscribe from the Tesla app.

To subscribe in the Tesla app, follow these steps:
1. Open the Tesla app.
2. Tap ‘Upgrades.’
3. Tap ‘Software Upgrades.’
4. Tap the checkbox next to 'Full Self-Driving Capability.'
5. Tap ‘Subscribe.’
Note: Only the Tesla Account that owns the vehicle can subscribe in the Tesla app. The vehicle will need to complete a software update before Full Self-Driving Capability features are available.
You can confirm your eligibility to subscribe in the Tesla app by following these steps:
1. Open the Tesla app.
2. Tap ‘Upgrades.’
3. Tap ‘Software Upgrades.’
4. If you are eligible, you will see an option to subscribe.
Full Self-Driving Capability and Full Self-Driving (Supervised) are separate packages. If you have subscribed to Full Self-Driving Capability for your vehicle, your subscription will automatically switch to Full Self-Driving (Supervised) at no additional cost once your vehicle:
- Becomes eligible for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) as a result of regulatory approval in your country or region
- Meets the requirements for Full Self-Driving (Supervised) including hardware and software updates
We will notify you in advance when Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is available and you will have the right to cancel the subscription at that time. Once Full Self‑Driving (Supervised) is available, you will be required to install the latest software update on your vehicle.

The Full Self-Driving Capability features you receive are based on your configuration and location. Not all features are available in all markets, due to regulatory approval and other factors, and features are subject to change.

Note: Full Self-Driving Capability requires active driver supervision and does not make the vehicle autonomous. You need to keep your eyes on the road, be ready to intervene and remain responsible for the driving task at all times. Further details can be found in the Owner’s Manual on your vehicle’s touchscreen by tapping ‘Controls’ > ‘Service’ > ‘Owner’s Manual.’
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Tesla app. Monthly subscription payments will not be prorated. After your cancelation is processed, you will continue to have access to features for the remainder of the current billing period.

To cancel your subscription from the Tesla app, follow these steps:
1. Open the Tesla app.
2. Tap ‘Upgrades’ > ‘Manage’ > ‘Full Self-Driving Capability.’
3. Tap ‘Cancel Subscription.’
