Types of Charging Badges

Iconic Chargers

Each Iconic Charger badge is tied to specific flagship Supercharger sites such as the Tesla Diner or are located by famous destinations including Yosemite National Park.

Some Iconic Charger badges can be earned at multiple sites. For example, charging at any of the specified Supercharger sites along the Great Barrier Reef will earn you the corresponding badge. To learn how to earn a specific badge, tap the badge in the Tesla app and then select a Supercharger site to see its address and details.

Special Events

Special Event badges allow you to join in on unique experiences and annual celebrations. These badges can only be earned during a limited time, and events will specify instructions for how to earn them.

Once you earn the badge, it will appear with the rest of your Charging Milestone badges.

Charging Milestones

Charging Milestone badges are earned by reaching specific goals for metrics such as the total energy charged, the number of consecutive weeks where you Supercharged your vehicle, the number of unique Superchargers you visited and more.

Your progress towards Charging Milestone badges resets every year. You can scroll down to see the badges you unlocked in previous years.

Some Charging Milestone badges have multiple tiers, which unlock as you meet the corresponding thresholds. You can see these tier thresholds by selecting the ‘Tiers’ button in the top-right corner of the badge screen.
