If you are experiencing performance issues with the app, try troubleshooting the app by following these steps:

1. Sign out of the Tesla app and sign in using the email address associated with your Tesla Account.
2. Confirm you are using the official Tesla app from the App Store or Google Play.
3. Update to the latest version of the Tesla app.
4. Turn off any connected virtual private networks (VPN) and restart your mobile device.
5. Delete and reinstall the app.

Note: Deleting and reinstalling the app will require you to re-pair your phone key for any vehicle using a phone key.

You can sign in to the Tesla app using the same email address and password you used to place your order. If you are unable to sign in with that email address and password, you can try resetting your password.

If you're having trouble signing in with your email address, it’s possible you may have placed the order using a different email address or misspelled your email address when creating your account. Try signing in with other email addresses you use regularly. If you are still unable to sign in, contact the Customer Support team.

To check what version of the Tesla app you have, follow these steps:

1. Open the Tesla app.
2. Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
3. Scroll down to the bottom where you will find the app version.

If you can’t see your vehicle in the Tesla app or are experiencing connectivity issues, follow these steps:

1. Verify your vehicle is added to your Tesla Account. To add a vehicle, tap the menu in the top-right corner, tap 'Add/Remove Products,' then tap 'Vehicle' and follow the prompts.
2. On your vehicle's touchscreen, verify Mobile Access is enabled by tapping 'Controls' > 'Safety & Security' > 'Allow Mobile Access.'
3. If the issue persists, delete the app, reinstall it and sign back in.

Note: Deleting and reinstalling the app will require you to re-pair your phone key for any vehicle using a phone key.

Mobile Access allows your vehicle to communicate with mobile devices. Connect and disconnect remote vehicle access from the vehicle touchscreen. The mobile device and your vehicle must both be connected to cellular service.

To enable Mobile Access from your vehicle touchscreen, tap ‘Controls’ > ‘Safety’ > ‘Allow Mobile Access.’ To disable Mobile Access from your vehicle touchscreen, tap ‘Controls’ > ‘Safety’ > ‘Allow Mobile Access’ and provide your phone number for security verification.

The ‘Mobile Access Disabled' error occurs when Mobile Access is disabled on your vehicle or when your vehicle is in Service Mode.

To resolve this issue, try one of the following:

1. On your vehicle's touchscreen, tap 'Controls' > 'Safety & Security' and confirm that 'Allow Mobile Access' is enabled.
2. If your vehicle is currently at a Tesla Service Center or has an active service appointment, it is likely in Service Mode. Service Mode temporarily disables certain Tesla app functions for safety during repairs. When picking up your vehicle, confirm with your Service team that Service Mode is disabled and you have regained Mobile Access. If you continue to experience issues after pickup, schedule a service appointment in the Tesla app.

If you have more than one email address and password, transfer ownership of all your Tesla products to the Tesla Account you want to keep before deleting the accounts you no longer want to use.

If you delete a Tesla Account, you will lose any Tesla Credits, free Supercharging or other promotional benefits tied to that account. Before deleting a Tesla Account with any promotional benefits, contact the Customer Support team.

This may occur when the vehicle is idle for a long duration of time or when the vehicle battery is too low in charge. If your vehicle has been idle and is not connecting to the Tesla app, you can wake the vehicle. Here are a few ways to wake your vehicle:

• Opening the trunk
• Opening the vehicle’s doors
• Press the brake pedal
• Locking and unlocking from the Tesla app

If you are experiencing problems with your phone key, you can view how to troubleshoot Tesla vehicle keys.

To switch to a different product, swipe left on your vehicle or energy home screen.

To display the odometer, open the Tesla app and scroll down to the bottom of the main screen. You can also find the odometer on your vehicle’s touchscreen by selecting ‘Controls’ > ‘Software’ or ‘Controls’ > ‘Trips.’

View, add or remove payment methods at any time from Wallet in the Tesla app. All payment methods associated with your Tesla Account can be found in Wallet.

To view or add a payment method in the Tesla app, follow these steps:

1. Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
2. Tap your name > ‘Wallet.’
3. To add a new payment method, tap ‘Add.’
4. To set a payment method as default, open the payment method in Wallet, then tap ‘Set as Default.’

To remove a payment method in the Tesla app, follow these steps:

1. Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
2. Tap your name > ‘Wallet.’
3. Tap the payment method you would like to remove.
4. Tap ‘Remove.’

Note: If you are removing a payment method that is currently used for monthly payments, such as Premium Connectivity, you will be asked to select an alternative payment method before the removal is complete.

To update your Supercharging payment method in the Tesla app, follow these steps:

1. Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
2. Tap ‘Charging.’
3. Tap ‘Manage Payment.’
