Ordering and Delivery

After placing my order, when will I receive my Cybertruck?

After designing and placing your order for your Cybertruck, download the Tesla app to provide registration and delivery location details. These details are required to move forward. Once your Cybertruck is ready, you will receive an SMS message or email with your delivery date and time, which will show up in your Tesla Account as well.

Note: Deliveries are expected to begin in early 2026.

What happens on my Cybertruck delivery day?

Depending on location and eligibility, your Tesla vehicle will be available for pickup at a delivery center or will be delivered to your location. Delivery dates may change. Your Tesla Advisor will assist with delivery and answer any questions you have about your Cybertruck delivery.

Can I transfer my order to someone else or resell my vehicle after delivery?

No. Cybertruck orders cannot be transferred. Additionally, Tesla and its affiliates sell vehicles directly to end consumers, and we may unilaterally cancel any orders that we believe have been made with a view toward resale of the vehicle or have otherwise been made in bad faith or violates our Order Agreement.

Can I finance or lease my Cybertruck?

Tesla offers the ability to finance your Cybertruck through Tesla-preferred partners, subject to credit approval. You may apply for financing in your Tesla Account after you place your order and choose your financing partner.

Can I register my Cybertruck outside the country where the reservation or order was placed?

No. Registration and delivery must be completed in the country where the reservation or order was placed. Cross-border delivery is not available.

Features and Upgrades

Can I drive my Cybertruck off road?

Yes. Cybertruck has many features designed specifically for off-road driving.

What Active Safety features are available with my Cybertruck?

Active safety features come standard on Cybertruck vehicles for elevated protection at all times. These features are made possible by our Autopilot hardware and software system and include:

  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Forward Collision Warning
  • Side Collision Warning
  • Obstacle Aware Acceleration
  • Blind Spot Monitoring
  • Lane Departure Avoidance
  • Emergency Lane Departure Avoidance

Active safety features are designed to assist drivers, but cannot respond in every situation. It is your responsibility to stay alert, drive safely and be in control of your vehicle at all times.

What Autopilot features are available with my Cybertruck?

Autopilot comes standard on every Cybertruck and includes:

  • Traffic-Aware Cruise Control

Can I use my Cybertruck to charge my electronic devices or tools?

Yes. You can use a Mobile Connector to transform your Cybertruck’s charge port into an outlet.

Alternatively, if you own a Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive or Cyberbeast vehicle, you can use the 240 V outlet (up to 40A) in the cargo bed or the two 120 V outlets (up to 20A) in the cabin.

Simply plug in your device to any of the outlets to charge.

Which Cybertruck type has differential lockers?

Both All-Wheel Drive and Cyberbeast vehicles have the hardware necessary to enable differential locking.

Cyberbeast has locking differentials on the front axle only. Since the rear axle features two independent motors, it does not require a differential locker for off-road use.

Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive has locking differentials on both front and rear axles.

What is the warranty coverage for Cybertruck?

Cybertruck is covered by a New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which includes Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty, Supplemental Restraint System Limited Warranty, Body Rust Limited Warranty and Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty.
