Material Handler- Model S/X/3/Y

We are currently hiring a goal-oriented Material Handler in Fremont, CA. This individual will be driven to succeed and will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of the Fremont warehouses and supporting line side duties. This will include assisting production and warehouse by locating and acquiring parts from the production line, transferring them to the correct location, supporting production by conveying inventory to manufacturing lines and packing out the quantities for offsite locations. The Material Handler will also stock and organize parts inventory.

Material Handlers are also responsible for maintaining our fleet of reusable crates, and ensuring that all material is properly packaged, and/or crated according to work instructions to minimize damage during transit.  Must be able to perform wide array of essential functions across a number of warehouse, production, and manufacturing lines and work areas, as business needs require. 


·         Pick up commodities from designated route locations at designated frequency and deliver to the designated drop off locations

·         Operate safety sensitive and heavy equipment such as, but not limited to, forklifts, tuggers, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts

·         Load and unload material onto or from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, conveyor system carts, balers, and/or load gratings

·         Ensure timely receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping of inventory to store locations and external customers

·         Properly transact materials in MES, and MOS

·         Support production by conveying parts between the distribution center and manufacturing lines

·         Ensuring that shipments are packed with all required material, including barrier bags, desiccants, ESD grounding, etc.

·         Assembly of crates and containers and preparing materials for transport by palletizing, wrapping, loading, and moving

·         Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Supervisor or area lead

·         Report any equipment damages or repairs needed to repair shop and Supervisor or area lead

·         Punctuality and a professional, can-do attitude are a must

Work Environment / Essential Physical Demands

·       Ability to perform physical work for extended periods of time, up to 12 hours per day

·       Possible weekend work and overtime required (including potential overnight shifts)

·       Ability to frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.

·       Ability to frequently and repetitively lift and carry 20 lbs. up and down stairs

·       Ability to frequently and repetitively bend, lift and reach to install parts of varying size and weight overhead

·       Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours/day, including over varied and uneven terrain

·       Ability to stoop, lay, bend, reach, squat, kneel, crouch, twist and crawl for periods of time

·       Ability to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding or other high structures

·       Ability to detect abnormalities in the process and receive safety signals using visual, tactile, or auditory senses

·       Potential exposure to confined spaces and hazardous materials used in the painting process

·       Wearing Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to: safety glasses, safety shoes, bump caps, and adhering to prescribed safety rules and guidelines


·         Previous material handling experience preferred (3+ years) within a production, manufacturing, warehouse, or comparable environment

·         High School diploma or equivalent, or evidence of exceptional ability

·         Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

·         For driving assignments, a valid U.S. driver's license and acceptable driving record (subject to review)

·         For driving assignments, robust forklift driving experience and acceptable safety record - current forklift certification strongly preferred

·         Must be at least 18 years of age
