The Safety Results cover Robotaxi collisions and mileage from 22 Jan to 18 Oct 2026 that meet NHTSA's SGO reporting criteria [1]. The only exception is the live mileage counter, which estimates miles driven at the fleet's current pace.
“People Injured” counts anyone, inside or outside the vehicle, injured in a collision in which Robotaxi made first contact. The SGO reports cover alleged as well as verified injuries, to anyone involved, whatever Robotaxi's role in the collision [1]. In one of the SGO-reported events during the time period covered in this report, an SUV was hit by another vehicle which redirected the SUV into a Robotaxi as it waited at a stop sign. Notably, nobody in the Robotaxi or the SUV was hurt, but an occupant in the other vehicle was taken to the hospital as a result of the initial collision. In one other incident, a rider claimed injury after a Robotaxi drove over a pothole, but investigation found no injury associated with the event. These events were not counted as injuries in this report.
“Airbag Deployments” counts deployments of Robotaxi's own airbags. There were none, although an airbag deployed in another vehicle, prior to striking the Robotaxi, in the multi-vehicle collision referenced above.
“Pedestrians or Cyclists Hit” counts collisions with a pedestrian or cyclist in which Robotaxi made first contact. There were none.
