Tesla Wall Connector Donation Program
Tesla’s Wall Connector donation program is an initiative to expand electric vehicle charging access to low-income and disadvantaged communities. Tesla is partnering with organizations who have a direct presence in underserved communities to install Wall Connectors for both Tesla vehicle and other EV charging.
Non-profit organizations and local community-based organizations are invited to fill out the application form to request Wall Connectors for the organization to have installed in the community. Once the application has been reviewed and approved, Tesla then donates Wall Connectors to be installed by the recipient to have installed in the community for public use. The amount and type of charger is based on identified partner organization needs and available equipment inventory. The Wall Connector is a Level 2 charger common for home, workplace and public charging that can serve both Tesla and other electric vehicles through a J1772 or NACS connector.
