Rentals at Tesla Collision Centers

Tesla offers a seamless rental experience through our Collision Centers. If you currently have an appointment at a Tesla Collision Center, you may qualify to rent a different Tesla vehicle to use in the meantime.

Note: Rental vehicles are not available at Tesla Service Centers.

Eligible customers can rent the following Tesla vehicles:

  • Model S
  • Model 3
  • Model X
  • Model Y
  • Cybertruck

Rental vehicles are subject to availability and are not available at all Collision Centers.

What Is Included

All Tesla rental vehicles include the following:

  • Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised): Complimentary access of advanced driver assistance features for the entire rental duration with no additional charges and ready to use upon vehicle pickup
  • Premium Connectivity: Complimentary access of real-time traffic visualization, music streaming, Grok and more for the entire rental duration with no additional charges and ready to use upon vehicle pickup
  • Free Supercharging: Provided for the rental vehicle and may be subject to standard congestion fees during peak usage periods at Supercharger stations

Note: Terms and conditions are subject to change and vehicle availability is not guaranteed. FSD (Supervised) and free Supercharging may be revoked if usage violates the Rental Agreement.

How It Works

To be eligible to rent a different Tesla vehicle, you must have your Tesla vehicle scheduled for a Collision Center visit. Once you have scheduled an appointment, the Collision team will contact you to offer a rental vehicle, if available, and discuss the potential cost. Based on the Collision Center location, rental prices may vary. For Tesla Insurance customers, your rental costs will be billed directly to your insurance premium in accordance to your coverage. If you have a different insurance provider, contact your nearest Collision Center to learn more about what out-of-pocket rental options are available to you.

Once your rental reservation is confirmed, the Collision team will contact you to discuss the pickup process. Your rental reservation will be on the same date as your originally scheduled Collision Center visit.
