Third-Party App Onboarding

Developers working on third-party apps can now securely access Tesla APIs using Tesla OAuth. You can request access to those APIs by following our onboarding process.

Before you request access to Tesla OAuth, you must create a Tesla Account, verify your email and set up multi-factor authentication.

1. Click the ‘Get Started’ button below and sign in with your Tesla Account credentials.
2. Provide your legal business details.
3. Provide your app name, description and purpose of usage.
4. Specify the OAuth grant details for your app.
5. Select the scopes you would like to access.

After you submit your details, we will review your request and email you with status updates.

To begin your third-party app onboarding, you will first need a verified Tesla Account. If you do not have an account, create an account first and review the steps above to continue.
