Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Trial for New Owners

What is Full Self-Driving (Supervised)?

Under your supervision, Full Self-Driving (Supervised) can drive your Tesla vehicle almost anywhere. It will make lane changes, select forks to follow your navigation route, navigate around other vehicles and objects and make left and right turns.

When using Full Self-Driving (Supervised), you and anyone you authorize must use additional caution and remain attentive. It does not make your vehicle autonomous. Do not become complacent.

When does my Full Self-Driving (Supervised) trial start?

Your trial will begin once you take delivery of your vehicle. We recommend staying connected to Wi-Fi to receive the latest software updates, if applicable. If a new update is available, you’ll receive a notification on your vehicle’s touchscreen and in the Tesla app.

How do I start my Full Self-Driving (Supervised) trial?

Your trial automatically starts once you take delivery of your vehicle. You can confirm that Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is enabled for your vehicle by opening ‘Controls’ > ‘Autopilot’ on your vehicle’s touchscreen.

I have taken delivery of my vehicle. How do I enable Full Self-Driving (Supervised)?

Once you take delivery of your vehicle, Full Self-Driving (Supervised) is automatically enabled. To view Full Self-Driving (Supervised) settings, open ‘Controls’ > ‘Autopilot’ on your vehicle’s touchscreen. Read through any required user agreements.

I am already subscribed to Full Self-Driving (Supervised). Do I still get the 30-day Full Self-Driving (Supervised) trial?

No. This trial is not available for vehicles with an ongoing Full Self-Driving (Supervised) subscription. It is only available to new owners taking delivery of a Model S, Model 3, Model X, Model Y or Cybertruck vehicle directly from Tesla.

I purchased Full Self-Driving (Supervised) outright with my Tesla vehicle. Am I eligible for the trial?

Can I combine the 30-day Full Self-Driving (Supervised) trial with Refer and Earn benefits?

No. You cannot combine the 30-day Full Self-Driving (Supervised) trial with Refer and Earn benefits. If you purchased your Tesla vehicle using a referral link and have received benefits, you are not eligible to receive the 30-day trial.

Can I save my 30-day Full Self-Driving (Supervised) trial and start at a later date?

Are there any other FSD (Supervised) trials I am eligible for?

If you have Full Self-Driving (Supervised) software version 14.2 or later, you may be eligible for the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) v14 trial. Additionally, you may be eligible for a 30-day trial of Full Self-Driving (Supervised) when you purchase a full set of tires or a wheel and tire package from Tesla.

Note: These trial offerings are not available for vehicles that already have Full Self-Driving (Supervised) and are subject to change or end at any time.
