Tesla App

Scheduling Service
Guidance on minor troubleshooting and repairs can be found in the Do It Yourself Guides. If a service appointment is required, the only way to schedule a service appointment is in the Tesla app. Select your desired service, add notes and photo or video and select your desired date, time and location. If available, you can select Mobile Service to have a technician come to a location convenient to you, rather than visit a Service Center.
Software Updates
Every Tesla gets better over time with over-the-air software updates that introduce new features and enhance existing functionality. To ensure you can quickly download and receive updates, connect to Wi-Fi. Tap the Wi-Fi icon from the status bar at the top of the touchscreen, locate your desired Wi-Fi connection and login as normal.
Autopilot
Autopilot is a suite of driver assistance features that can be purchased before you buy your car or after its been delivered, and brings new functionality to your Tesla that makes driving safer and less stressful.
If your car is equipped with Autopilot hardware, Automatic Emergency Braking automatically applies full braking in situations where a collision is considered imminent by the forward-looking camera and the radar sensor.
Touchscreen
Your touchscreen will only turn off when you power off your car. You can always adjust the brightness and Day/Night setting in Controls > Display, as well as temporarily darken the screen for cleaning. Learn more about your Touchscreen.
