Novated Leasing can offer affordable terms and convenient, monthly payment options to qualifying customers looking to lease a new Tesla vehicle.

After placing an order, download and sign in to the Tesla app using your Tesla Account credentials to get started on your pre-delivery tasks.

LeaseMyTesla

Customers without an existing employer Novated Lease provider can access LeaseMyTesla powered by Driva.

To submit a lease application through LeaseMyTesla, follow these steps:

1. Open the Tesla app.
2. Confirm your delivery, registration and trade-in details.
3. Navigate to the ‘Financing’ section of your pre-delivery tasks.
4. Tap ‘Yes’ to view financing options.
5. Select ‘LeaseMyTesla.’
6. Tap ‘Continue’ and you’ll be redirected to the Driva landing page to submit your application.
7. Open the Tesla app to confirm your application submission.

Driva will contact you to onboard your employer and complete your application.

Note: If your employer cannot be onboarded or if your application is declined, you can select a different payment method.

Preferred Leasing

Tesla has partnered with select Novated Lease companies for a seamless delivery experience.

To submit a leasing application through a Tesla-preferred leasing provider, follow these steps:

1. Open the Tesla app.
2. Confirm your delivery, registration and trade-in details.
3. Navigate to the ‘Financing’ section of your pre-delivery tasks.
4. Tap ‘Yes’ to view financing options.
5. Select ‘Novated Lease.’
6. From the dropdown, select your preferred Novated Leasing partner.
7. Tap ‘Continue’ and you’ll be redirected to the landing page to submit your application.
8. Open the Tesla app to confirm your application submission.

Self-Arranged Novated Lease

You can also organise a Novated Lease with a third-party provider of your choice.

To submit a leasing application through a third-party leasing provider, follow these steps:

1. Open the Tesla app.
2. Confirm your delivery, registration and trade-in details.
3. Navigate to the ‘Financing’ section of your pre-delivery tasks.
4. Tap ‘Yes’ to view financing options.
5. Select ‘Novated Lease.’
6. From the dropdown, select ‘Other.’
7. Provide the Novated Lease provider’s name only. Financier details are arranged by your Novated Lease provider.

Once you receive a VIN, you will receive a copy of your final invoice in the Tesla app. You will need to send a copy of your final invoice to your financier before they can finalise your funding. All loan and leasing applications are subject to credit approval requirements.

How can I find out who my Novated Lease provider is?

There are many Novated Lease providers available, and your employer may already be onboarded with one. We recommend confirming with your employer if they already have a Novated Lease partner.

What’s included in a Novated Lease package?

In addition to the vehicle, other costs associated with the ongoing maintenance and cover for your vehicle can be bundled in. Insurance, servicing, registration and other running costs can often be included, with varying budgets depending on the vehicle price, state of purchase and usage of the vehicle.

Does Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) apply to my Novated Lease?

In Novated Leasing, FBT usually applies to the personal use portion of the vehicle. However, eligible electric vehicles (EVs) are FBT-exempt, meaning there is no FBT charge. Learn more about the eligibility criteria.

What happens if my Novated Lease application is declined?

In the case where you have applied for a Novated Lease but were declined, change the payment method in your Tesla app or select a different provider.
