Grok Bot
Grok Bot handles more complex, multistep tasks for you, like placing a coffee order, booking a reservation or scheduling an appointment. Grok Bot works through the same Grok experience in your vehicle, so no additional apps are required.

Interactions with Grok are securely processed by SpaceXAI in line with their privacy policy. Conversations remain anonymous to Tesla, and Tesla does not link them to you or your vehicle. When you ask Grok to call someone, Grok will access your phone contacts in the vehicle before placing the call; your contacts are not sent to SpaceXAI. Location-related features require you to opt in to ‘Share precise location.’ Without it, Grok can only determine your approximate location. View our Privacy Notice for additional information.
When you’re signed in and use Connectors or Grok Bot, Grok accesses information from the services you connect, such as your email or calendar, to complete your requests. This information is processed by SpaceXAI in line with its privacy policy. You can remove a Connector at any time.
Connectors are set up from your phone or computer, not from your vehicle’s touchscreen. To add a Connector from your phone, follow these steps:
1. Open the Grok app.
2. Tap the + icon.
3. Tap ‘Connectors’, then ‘Add Connector’.
4. Choose the services you want to connect and sign in.
You can add Connectors from your computer. Once connected, Grok uses your Connectors automatically when your vehicle is signed in with the same Grok account. You can manage or remove Connectors at any time.
To use Grok Bot, you need:
- A SuperGrok subscription on the Grok account signed in to your vehicle
- Grok Bot set up with that Grok account linked (download Grok Bot)
- Connectors for any services you want Grok Bot to use, like your email or calendar
Then start Grok as you normally would and ask for what you need, like “Hey Grok, order my usual coffee for pickup.” If you’ve created Bots in Grok Bot, you can ask Grok to hand off a task to a Bot by name.
