After placing my order, when will I receive my Cybertruck?

After designing and placing your order for your Cybertruck, download the Tesla app to provide registration and delivery location details. These details are required to move forward. Once your Cybertruck is ready, you will receive an SMS message with your delivery date and time.

How do I update the email associated with my Cybertruck reservation?

To change the email address associated with your Cybertruck order, call Customer Support.

What happens on my Cybertruck delivery day?

Depending on location and eligibility, your Tesla vehicle will be available for pickup at a delivery center or will be delivered to your location. Delivery dates may change. Your Tesla Advisor will assist with delivery and answer any questions you have about your Cybertruck delivery.

How do I cancel my Cybertruck reservation?

Until your Cybertruck is delivered, you may cancel your reservation at any time and receive a full refund of your pre-order payment. You will see your refund in the account used to place the order. To cancel your Cybertruck reservation, follow these steps:

1. Sign in to your Tesla Account.
2. Select your Cybertruck order and tap ‘Manage.’
3. Tap ‘Request to Cancel.’
4. Select your reason for canceling the reservation.
5. Add additional feedback, then tap ‘Submit Cancelation.’
6. Tap ‘Yes, Cancel.’

Can I transfer my reservation to someone else or resell my vehicle after delivery?

No. Cybertruck reservations cannot be transferred. Additionally, Tesla and its affiliates sell vehicles directly to end consumers, and we may unilaterally cancel any reservations that we believe have been made with a view toward resale of the vehicle or have otherwise been made in bad faith or violates our Order Agreement.

Can I finance or lease my Cybertruck?

Tesla offers the ability to finance your Cybertruck through Tesla or a third-party financier. You may apply for financing in the Tesla app after you place your order.

Can I drive my Cybertruck off road?

Cybertruck has many features designed specifically for off-road driving. Before driving off road, review the Cybertruck Off-Road Guide.

What is a Range Extender?

Range Extender is an optional hardware addition that can be installed in the bed of the truck to provide additional range. Current pricing for the Range Extender is $16,000 USD (pre-tax) and requires a separate non-refundable $2,000 USD deposit that will be applied to your final payment. Price is subject to change.

Customers who pay the deposit for the Range Extender will be notified when it is ready for installation. Full payment will be required prior to installation. We estimate the first Range Extenders will be available in 2025.

What is Tesla Powershare?

Tesla Powershare technology unlocks your Cybertruck battery’s ability to provide power through the onboard outlets or power your home via charge port.

When and how will I receive my Powershare Home Backup equipment?

If you take delivery of a Cybertruck that is a Foundation Series vehicle, you may be eligible for Powershare Home Backup hardware at no cost, limited to the Universal Wall Connector and Powershare Gateway. You will be emailed a voucher which will allow you to purchase the Powershare Home Backup equipment from the Tesla Shop. If you have ordered a Cybertruck that is not a Foundation Series vehicle, purchase the Powershare Home Backup equipment from the Tesla Shop using an accepted payment method. After signing an agreement with a Certified Installer and purchasing the equipment from the Tesla Shop, the equipment will be shipped directly to your home.

Powershare Home Backup equipment can only be installed by a Tesla Certified Installer, like Qmerit.

Eligibility for Powershare Home Backup is primarily contingent on whether you own your home and have a dedicated parking spot. Review the eligibility requirements to determine if your home is eligible. If your home is eligible, you may contact a Certified Installer to begin your installation process after receiving the Tesla Shop voucher.

What is the Off-Road Light Bar?

Off-Road Light Bar¹ is an accessory that can be mounted on the top of Cybertruck to increase visibility when driving off road.

Which Cybertruck type includes the Off-Road Light Bar?

All Foundation Series Cyberbeast customers will receive the Off-Road Light Bar with their order. Off-Road Light Bar delivery is expected in 2025.

I have already taken delivery of my Cyberbeast. Will I receive the Off-Road Light Bar?

Yes. If you have taken delivery of Foundation Series Cyberbeast, you are eligible to receive an Off-Road Light Bar. More information will be available when the Off-Road Light Bar is ready in 2025.

Which Cybertruck type has differential lockers?

Both All-Wheel Drive and Cyberbeast vehicles have the hardware necessary to enable differential locking.

Cyberbeast has locking differentials on the front axle only. Since the rear axle features two independent motors, it does not require a differential locker for off-road use.

Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive has locking differentials on both front and rear axles.

What is the warranty coverage for Cybertruck?

Cybertruck is covered by a New Vehicle Limited Warranty, which includes Basic Vehicle Limited Warranty, Supplemental Restraint System Limited Warranty, Body Rust Limited Warranty and Battery and Drive Unit Limited Warranty.
