Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Subscriptions

With the Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised) package, you will get access to a suite of more advanced driver assistance features, designed to provide more active guidance and assisted driving under your active supervision.

If you have not already purchased FSD (Supervised) and your vehicle has Full Self-Driving computer 3.0 or 4.0, you can subscribe to FSD (Supervised) from the Tesla app.

Note: Feature availability depends on vehicle configuration, hardware, software version, region, model, vehicle trim and model year. Future feature activation and use subject to necessary development and regulatory approvals.

Eligibility

If your vehicle has Full Self-Driving computer 3.0 or 4.0, plus Basic Autopilot or Enhanced Autopilot, you are eligible to subscribe to FSD (Supervised). You can check your Autopilot configuration from your vehicle’s touchscreen by selecting ‘Controls’ > ‘Self-Driving’ > ‘Additional Vehicle Information.’ You can also check your configuration in the Tesla app by selecting ‘Vehicle’ > ‘Specs & Warranty.’

Subscription Pricing

Your vehicle’s current Autopilot package of Basic Autopilot or Enhanced Autopilot will determine the subscription price, which is subject to change.

Basic Autopilot to FSD (Supervised)	$149.00 per month
Enhanced Autopilot to FSD (Supervised)	$75.00 per month

If you are ordering a new Tesla vehicle, you can simply add the subscription when placing your order.

If you already own a Tesla vehicle and your vehicle is eligible, you can subscribe to Full Self-Driving (Supervised) from the Tesla app.

To subscribe to Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in the Tesla app, follow these steps:

Open the Tesla app.

Tap ‘Upgrades.’

Tap ‘Software Upgrades.’

Tap the checkbox next to ‘Full Self-Driving (Supervised).’

Tap ‘Subscribe.’

Note: Only the Tesla Account that owns the vehicle can subscribe to FSD (Supervised) in the Tesla app.

The vehicle will need to complete a software update before FSD (Supervised) features are available.
You can cancel your FSD (Supervised) subscription at any time from the Tesla app. Monthly subscription payments will not be prorated. After your cancellation is processed, you will continue to have FSD (Supervised) features for the remainder of the current billing period.

To cancel your subscription from the Tesla app:

Open the Tesla app.

Tap ‘Upgrades’ > ‘Manage Upgrades.’

Find Full Self-Driving (Supervised), tap ‘Manage.’

Next to Full Self-Driving (Supervised), tap ‘Cancel.’
Monthly Full Self-Driving (Supervised) subscriptions are currently available for eligible vehicles in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand.

The FSD (Supervised) features you receive are based on your configuration and location. Not all features are available in all markets, and features are subject to change. Learn more about Autopilot features.

Note: These features are designed to become more capable over time; however, the currently enabled features do not make the vehicle autonomous. The currently enabled features require a fully attentive driver, who has their hands on the wheel and is prepared to take over at any moment.
The FSD (Supervised) package is available for both hardware 3 (HW3) and hardware 4 (HW4) vehicles. Rollout of the FSD (Supervised) feature¹ will begin with HW4 vehicles. There is no confirmed release timing for the rollout of the FSD (Supervised) feature¹ for HW3 equipped vehicles.

Except as provided for by law including the Australian Consumer Law, refunds are not available for FSD (Supervised) subscriptions. You can cancel your subscription at any time and you will continue to have access to FSD (Supervised) features for the remainder of the current billing period.
