Full Self-Driving (Supervised)
Under your supervision, Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised) can drive your Tesla vehicle almost anywhere. It will make lane changes, select forks to follow your navigation route, navigate around other vehicles and objects and make left and right turns. None of these advanced driver assistance features make your Tesla vehicle autonomous or replace you as the driver.
As shown in our Vehicle Safety Report1, Tesla vehicles with FSD (Supervised) engaged experience fewer collisions than those driven without. FSD (Supervised) keeps you safer with 7x fewer major and minor collisions and 5x fewer off-highway collisions.
Note: Currently enabled features require active driver supervision and do not make the vehicle autonomous. The activation and use of these features are dependent on development and regulatory approval, which may take longer in some jurisdictions. When using FSD (Supervised), you and anyone you authorise must use additional caution and remain attentive. Do not become complacent. Specific features available to you may vary depending on your vehicle configuration, hardware, software version, region, model, vehicle trim and model year.
Your vehicle will be able to drive itself almost anywhere under your active supervision and will continuously improve with future software updates. In addition to the functionality and features of the Autopilot package, the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) package also includes:
- Navigate on Autopilot: Actively guides your vehicle from a motorway’s on-ramp to off-ramp, including suggesting lane changes, navigating interchanges, automatically engaging the turn signal and taking the correct exit.
- Auto Lane Change: Assists in moving to an adjacent lane on the motorway when Autosteer is engaged.
- Autopark: Helps automatically parallel or perpendicular park your vehicle, with a single touch.
- Full Self-Driving (Supervised)2: Also referred to as Autosteer on City Streets, works in a variety of driving scenarios and any type of roadway, including residential and city streets.
- Traffic and Stop Sign Control: Identifies stop signs and traffic lights and automatically slows your vehicle to a stop on approach, with your active supervision.
Upcoming:
- Dumb Summon3: Moves your vehicle in and out of a tight space using the mobile app or key.
- Actually Smart Summon3: Navigates your vehicle in more complex environments and parking spaces, manoeuvring around objects as necessary to come find you in a parking lot.
Note: Feature availability depends on vehicle configuration, hardware, software version, region, model, vehicle trim and model year. Future feature activation and use subject to necessary development and regulatory approvals.
