Every Certified Pre-Owned vehicle has passed a 102-point inspection and is covered by any coverage remaining from the original New Vehicle Limited Warranty and an additional 1 year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.

How to Order a Certified Pre-Owned Tesla Vehicle

You can view and purchase available Certified Pre-Owned Tesla vehicles at any time in our inventory. If you would like to speak to a member of our Sales team about a particular vehicle, tap the ‘View Details’ button for that vehicle and then select ‘Request a Callback.’

When you place your order, you will need to pay a $400 order fee. That fee is non-refundable but will be applied toward the cost of the vehicle once you take delivery.

How to Pay for Your Certified Pre-Owned Tesla Vehicle

You can pay for your Certified Pre-Owned Tesla vehicle through financing or by EFT/Bank Transfer. We suggest starting your third-party financing enquiries prior to viewing inventory, to best understand rates and deposit requirements. Full payment must be made at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled delivery date.

Self-Driving

Each Certified Pre-Owned Tesla vehicle will come with Basic Autopilot. You can subscribe to the Full Self-Driving (Supervised) package in the Tesla app or on your vehicle’s touchscreen for a suite of more advanced driver assistance features.¹

Connectivity

Certified Pre-Owned Tesla vehicles are eligible for a 30-day Premium Connectivity trial. Eligibility for connectivity plans varies based on vehicle model and date of purchase. View which connectivity plan applies to your vehicle.

Warranty

Certified Pre-Owned Tesla vehicles are available for pickup at the following Tesla locations; Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. If you are more than 250 km from a Tesla Centre, we will deliver your vehicle directly to your nominated address. Based on where you plan to register the vehicle, delivery may not be available in certain regions.
We accept all types of vehicles, including motorbikes, regardless of age, for trade-in value toward a new or Certified Pre-Owned Tesla vehicle purchase. These must have registration valid for at least 3 months after the vehicle is dropped off.
Non-drivable vehicles are not accepted for trade-in. All trade-ins are expected to be in drivable condition and all values are subject to change if the vehicle has any major mechanical or cosmetic concerns. To get started, request a trade-in estimate.
Prior to your delivery appointment, you must submit all trade-in information, a copy of your driver’s licence and new registration details. The Tesla app will guide you through necessary tasks. Once these steps are complete, you will be ready for your scheduled pickup.
Delivery timing estimates are displayed when placing a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle order. A Tesla representative will contact you to provide final delivery timing and location as soon as it's available.
Mechanical Condition
Every used Tesla vehicle meets or exceeds Tesla’s Mechanical Standards as outlined below:
No evidence of structural repairs
Tyres (4 mm minimum tread remaining)
Brake pads (6 mm minimum brake pad thickness remaining)
Components inspected for functionality
Displays
Power-operated components
Steering and suspension components

Cosmetic Condition
Cosmetic wear and tear is typical of a used vehicle and does not affect the functionality of the vehicle. Your vehicle may exhibit cosmetic wear and tear that includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Exterior
Paint scratches that measure up to 10 cm in one direction
Scuffs and scrapes that measure up to 10 cm in multiple directions
Dents or dings that are less than 5 cm in diameter
Rock chips
Glass
Pitting on windscreen
Up to one chip less than or equal to 1 cm in diameter, not in the driver's line of sight
Surface scratches, not in the driver's line of sight
Wheels
Scratches, gouges, chips or dents less than 15 cm
Interior
Wear on upholstery or interior panels including markings, discolouration, small tears or stains up to 2.5 cm
Wear on entry and exit points
Touchscreen
Discolouration around the screen edge or border
A factory reset will remove the previous owner’s preferences. To factory reset your Tesla vehicle, tap ‘Controls’ > ‘Service’ > ‘Factory Reset’ on your touchscreen.
