Full Self-Driving (Supervised) Subscriptions
With the Full Self-Driving (FSD) (Supervised) package, you will get access to a suite of more advanced driver assistance features, designed to provide more active guidance and assisted driving under your active supervision.
If you have not already purchased FSD (Supervised) and your vehicle has Full Self-Driving computer 3.0 or 4.0, you can subscribe to FSD (Supervised) from the Tesla app or your vehicle’s touchscreen.
Note: Feature availability depends on vehicle configuration, hardware, software version, region, model, vehicle trim and model year. Future feature activation and use subject to necessary development and regulatory approvals.
If your vehicle has Full Self-Driving computer 3.0 or 4.0, plus Basic Autopilot or Enhanced Autopilot, you are eligible to subscribe to FSD (Supervised). You can check your configuration from your vehicle’s touchscreen by selecting ‘Controls’ > ‘Self-Driving’ > ‘Additional Vehicle Information.’ You can also check your configuration in the Tesla app by selecting ‘Vehicle’ > ‘Specs & Warranty.’
Your vehicle’s current package of Basic Autopilot or Enhanced Autopilot will determine the subscription price, which is subject to change.
| Basic Autopilot to FSD (Supervised) | $159.00 per month |
| Enhanced Autopilot to FSD (Supervised) | $80.00 per month |
Note: Price reflects monthly subscription, subject to terms and conditions. Price and feature availability subject to change.
If improper usage of FSD (Supervised) is detected, driving habits are deemed unsafe or any terms of the applicable user agreements have been violated, use of the features will be suspended for a week when you or another driver of your vehicle receives three or five strikeouts, depending on vehicle configuration.
A strikeout is when the Self-Driving system disengages for the remainder of a trip after the driver receives several audio and visual warnings for inattentiveness. A strikeout is forgiven after half a week, as long as you do not receive another strikeout for your vehicle in that time.
To see how many strikeouts are remaining before access is suspended for your vehicle, select ‘Controls’ > ‘Self-Driving.’ If your access to FSD (Supervised) is suspended, the FSD (Supervised) toggle will display a message that your suspension is active.
Once your suspension is over and the message has been removed, you will regain access to FSD (Supervised).
1 Feature is currently only available for vehicles with Full Self-Driving computer 4.0.
