No. All pre-owned Tesla vehicle pricing is non-negotiable.

Once you have selected a pre-owned vehicle from our inventory, navigate to the bottom and select ‘Show Pricing Details’ to see what comes with your pre-owned vehicle.

Note: Specific Autopilot technology features and packages available to you may vary depending on your vehicle configuration, hardware, software version, region, model, vehicle trim and model year.

Pre-owned Tesla vehicles are eligible for various connectivity trials. Eligibility for connectivity plans varies based on vehicle model and date of purchase. View which connectivity plans apply to your pre-owned Tesla vehicle.

We recommend scheduling a demo drive at your local Tesla store. If your local store has pre-owned Tesla vehicles available for a demo drive, a Tesla Advisor can assist you in scheduling an appointment. Since pre-owned Tesla vehicles are available for purchase online, we cannot guarantee the availability of a particular vehicle for your demo drive appointment.

If your Tesla vehicle comes equipped with an upgraded Infotainment System, your touchscreen will be more responsive and smoother, rendering images and web pages faster. You’ll also gain additional features that enhance both the entertainment and functionality of your vehicle.

Depending on what state you live in, you can choose to purchase with financing or purchase outright. You may also be able to trade in your current vehicle and apply the trade-in value toward your new Tesla vehicle purchase.

Tesla leasing is also available as a payment option for pre-owned vehicles in the following states: AZ, CA, FL, GA, IL, MD, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, TX, UT, VA, WA.

Prior to your delivery date, confirm your payment method with your Tesla Advisor and pay the amount due in your Tesla Account.

For final payments that are less than $50,000, we accept:

• Electronic check (direct debit) in the Tesla app
• Wire transfer
• Certified check at time of delivery with your Reservation Number (RN) and name in the memo line - available in most states

For final payments that are $50,000 or more, we accept:

• Wire transfer

Note: The total amount for your final payment must come from a single account. Financing is contingent on credit approval and not available in all states.

We accept all types of passenger vehicles, trucks and vans for trade-in. You can get an instant trade-in quote online.

Before placing an order, contact a Tesla Advisor to determine if you are able to pick up your vehicle in a different state. If so, we may be able to register the vehicle for you in your home state, subject to local regulations and restrictions. If you pick up your vehicle in a different state, you may owe that state’s sales tax in addition to your home state’s sales tax. If you ship a pre-owned Tesla vehicle to a local pre-owned vehicle Delivery Center, you will only be responsible for your local sales tax.

All pre-owned Tesla vehicles are covered by a Pre-Owned Vehicle Limited Warranty and any coverage remaining on the vehicle’s original New Vehicle Limited Warranty. Learn more about warranty coverage for pre-owned Tesla vehicles.

Pre-owned Tesla vehicles may be sold with open recalls requiring future repairs. Repairs can be addressed during ownership by making a service appointment at a Tesla Service Center. Check if a particular VIN is affected by a recall.

Every pre-owned Tesla vehicle has passed an internal inspection and may undergo light repairs to be prepared for sale. Cosmetic imperfections and normal wear and tear indicative of the age and mileage of the vehicle should be expected.

Note: Certain pre-owned vehicles may have aftermarket tints installed by a third party on the roof, rear glass and rear windows. Aftermarket tints are not covered by Tesla warranties.

Mechanical Condition

Every pre-owned Tesla vehicle meets or exceeds Tesla’s Mechanical Standards as outlined below:

• No evidence of structural damage as defined by the National Auto Auction Association (NAAA)
• Tires (5/32" minimum tread remaining)
• Brake pads (6 mm minimum brake pad thickness remaining)

Components inspected for functionality

• Autopilot (if equipped)
• Displays
• Power-operated components
• Steering and suspension components
• Powertrain system
• Vehicle braking system
• Exterior lighting systems
• Driver controls
• Safety restraint systems
• Charging system and equipment functionality

Cosmetic Condition

Cosmetic wear and tear is typical of a pre-owned vehicle and does not affect the functionality of the vehicle.

Model 3 and Model Y vehicles that are less than 4 years old with fewer than 50,000 miles, as well as all Model S and Model X vehicles, may exhibit cosmetic wear and tear that includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Exterior

• Paint scratches that measure up to 4” in one direction
• Scuffs and scrapes that measure up to 4” in multiple directions
• Dents or dings that are less than 2” in diameter
• Rock chips

Glass

• Pitting on windshield
• Up to one chip less than or equal to 1/2” in diameter, not in the driver's line of sight
• Surface scratches, not in the driver's line of sight

Wheels

• Scratches, gouges, chips or dents less than 6”

Interior

• Wear on upholstery or interior panels including markings, discoloration, small tears or stains up to 2”
• Wear on entry and exit points

Touchscreen

• Discoloration around the screen edge or border

Keys

Each vehicle will be delivered with a minimum of one key card or key fob.

Model 3 and Model Y vehicles that are more than 4 years old or with over 50,000 miles receive limited cosmetic reconditioning. These vehicles offer great value to customers who do not mind cosmetic imperfections. Each vehicle undergoes a comprehensive inspection focused on mechanical systems and safety functions to ensure they meet Tesla’s safety standards.

A factory reset will remove the previous owner’s preferences. To factory reset your Tesla vehicle, tap ‘Controls’ > ‘Service’ > ‘Factory Reset’ on your touchscreen.
