To help us maintain this efficiency, we encourage opting for direct debit payments and digital billing. This way, you can easily avoid the following fees:

Avoidable Fees for Residential & Business Customers (Standard Market Offers)

  • Paper Bills: $5 (Inc. GST) per bill
    Avoid by switching to email billing
    Note: Not applicable in New South Wales
  • Late Payment Fee: $16.00 (No GST) applied 10 business days after invoice due date
    Avoid by setting up direct debit
    Note: Not applicable in Victoria

Local Network Fees – Powering Your Connection

Your local network (also known as distribution network services provider or distributor) handles the infrastructure—poles, wires and meters—that keeps your energy flowing. If we arrange a service on your behalf, their fees may be passed on to you. Below are the costs for common services as of July 1, 2026. Additional charges may apply for after-hours, urgent or on-site requests. Your bill will specify your network provider.

Ausgrid (NSW) 

  • Special Read: $17.26 (Inc. GST) 
  • Standard Connection: Up to $123.56 (Inc. GST) 
  • Standard Disconnection: Up to $123.56 (Inc. GST) 
  • Disconnection for Non-Payment: Up to $123.56 (Inc. GST) 
  • Cancellation/Rescheduling: $134.19 (Inc. GST) 
  • Network Isolation: $411.00 (Inc. GST)
