Tesla Electric is designed to:
- Power your home with low-cost electricity
- Maximise your potential to earn dynamic, wholesale market-linked export credits
- Help manage your energy usage with a convenient mobile app experience
- Maximise the value and performance of your Powerwall system
Tesla Electric currently offers the Dynamic plan for Powerwall customers in Australia who are invited to participate by Tesla.
Enjoy predictable Time-of-Use (TOU) rates for the electricity you import from the grid while taking advantage of dynamic credits linked to Real-Time Market Prices¹ for the energy you export.
Available to invited Powerwall 2 and Powerwall 3 owners in eligible areas across Australia, the Tesla Electric Dynamic plan offers customers access to Tesla's energy optimisation tool, Opticaster.
Opticaster learns your electricity usage behavior and automatically optimises your Powerwall to maximise value, giving you greater opportunities to earn credits when discharging to the grid.
While Tesla automatically manages your exported energy to maximise your financial return, you maintain full control of your home's energy security by adjusting your Backup Reserve in the Tesla app to protect against grid outages.
