1 Real-time market prices refer to the 5-Minute Settlement prices published by Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) for each state. Your meter will determine how your earnings are calculated: most meters support 5-minute intervals, while some meters support 30-minute intervals. Your site must be approved to export to the grid. Check the connection agreement issued by your distributed network service provider and contact your installer if you are not sure.
When your Powerwall provides grid support services, you may also receive additional rewards in the form of bill credits. Grid services may include the provision of frequency control ancillary services (FCAS). During the provision of FCAS, your Powerwall may charge, discharge or go into standby mode. Providing grid services such as FCAS helps to manage fluctuations in electricity generation and consumption across the grid.
