Requesting and Scheduling Service

If you are experiencing issues with your solar system, you can request and schedule service using the Tesla app. Our Customer Support team will call or email you to help resolve your issue. If your system requires in-person assistance, we will schedule service with a technician. If eligible, we’ll conduct a virtual service of your system. 

To get started, download the Tesla app and sign in using your Tesla Account. If you already use the app for your Tesla vehicle, register your energy products using the same email address.

Requesting Service

  1. In the app, select ‘Service’ at the bottom of your energy system home screen.
  2. On the ‘Select Service’ screen, select your issue.
  3. Tap ‘Next’ to proceed with next steps to submit your request.
  4. We will review your request and follow up within approximately three business days via phone call or email.

Scheduling Service

  1. If we determine that a technician is required to visit your home, you will receive a notification to schedule service. To proceed, in the app, select ‘Service’ at the bottom of your energy system home screen.
  2. On the ‘Select Service’ screen, under ‘Alerts,’ select your issue.
    Note: ‘Alerts’ are only visible after we have determined that your system requires service.
  3. Tap ‘Next’ to proceed with scheduling your service. 

Canceling and Rescheduling Service

  1. In the app, select ‘Service’ at the bottom of your energy system home screen.
  2. At the bottom of the ‘Appointment’ screen, select ‘Cancel,’ then select ‘Yes’ to confirm.
  3. After canceling your scheduled service, you will be unable to schedule another service using the app. To reschedule service, contact Customer Support.
