Tesla designs your system with the highest quality equipment, ensuring your system is designed to produce clean energy for decades. As with all technology, some basic troubleshooting may be required from time to time. If you do experience issues with your system, you can use the resources below for general troubleshooting solutions.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. Check power by plugging your Solar Gateway into a different outlet.
  2. Try a different Ethernet port and test the cord by replacing it with one that you know works.
  3. Place the Solar Gateway closer to the inverter and move it farther from other electronics.
  4. Disconnect power from your modem and internet router, disconnect power from your Solar Gateway, wait 30 seconds, reconnect in order.
  5. If your issue persists after 24 hours, please complete this form.

Troubleshooting Your Inverter

Identify your model of solar inverter among the videos below for troubleshooting steps. Your solar inverter can typically be found on the side of your home or inside your garage near your electric utility meter. If the steps do not resolve your problem, your solar inverter may be functional, but your solar gateway may have not been communicating ts energy production.
